We focus on precision and reliability because, at Chase, getting it right the first time is what matters most. Marty Pratt, as the director of Chase Surface Engineering, I have first-hand experience in multiple levels of powertrain component overhaul. I have specialist skills in Caterpillar Applied Failure Analysis and fault finding. I also have OEM training in running a machine shop to achieve Caterpillar specifications and outcomes.

Coming up will be our live question and answer session if you really want to know the grit of this project and the Chase business. The Mill, we have been waiting for some time to bring this scope to Mackay. We are the first machine shop in the region outside of Hastings Deering to offer dowel hole reclamation with also surface grinding under the one roof. We talk about being experts in Powertrain reclaim and investment like this keep us in this space.

Did you know DMG Mori was the first machine company to install live tooling into a lathe. Effectively the grandfather of Mill Turn Machines. Pretty cool hey.

Tired of marking housings removing bushes and bearings. Try our custom tooling range like this CAT bearing bush remover for 7N-3011 bearing in D11 engine. Removing bushes from a blind housing had always been trouble until tooling meets the task.

I get asked often in transmission failure investigations about identifying damage, this plate is a great example of inadequate lubrication, which has cause uneven wear during service. Weather this was pump efficiency, additive breakdown or oil starvation, the best definition remains as inadequate lubrication.
