Our rooms have spent National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June) exploring stories, symbols and hands‑on experiences that help us learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and perspectives. 🌾🎨

Through art, sensory play and shared conversations, our children are building understanding, respect and connection — one meaningful moment at a time 🤍🖤💛❤️

Last night our team came together to have training with Andrea, one of Goodstarts Family and Child Practitioners. Our session was very Circle of Security based and we spent time learning and pulling about ways in which to support and guide our little people. Our Centre Philosophy highly emphasises relationship based care and attachment theory, so this training complimented our team very well.
We look forward to putting what we have learnt into practice

Today our educators from Pre Kindergarten and Kindergarten are working together with Mel from Empower for success to develop plans and strategies to support our older children in emotional regulation, social skills and positive behaviours .. we have been working with Mel for the last month as a part of our Innovation Solutions Grant to upskill our whole team and we have learnt a lot about ourselves and our practices.
A huge shout out to our Leadership Team who have stepped up to run the rooms this morning to ensure this crucial coaching occurs.

🌸 Mother’s Day Magic at Our Centre 🌸

Last Friday we were lucky enough to celebrate our wonderful mums, mother figures, and special loved ones with a relaxed Mother’s Day afternoon tea in the yard 💕

Our spaces were filled with connection, creativity, and lots of giggles as families enjoyed:

🎨 Playdough creations
🖍️ Art stations
✨ And plenty of sweet moments shared together

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon so special. We loved seeing our families, particularly mums, slow down, play, and make memories with their little ones 💛🌼
