🎉🏃‍♀️ ATHLETICS CARNIVAL DAY! 🏃‍♂️🎉
Friday 5/6/26!
Today our students will run, jump, throw, cheer and compete for house glory in the 2026 Slade Point State School Athletics Carnival.
Families are warmly invited to join us throughout the day. Gates open from 7:30am and events begin at 9:00am. Bring your chairs and picnic rugs to get comfy.
🌭 P&C BBQ and stalls available
🥤 Cold drinks and snacks
🏅 Plenty of action across the oval
📣 Lots of house spirit and cheering
We are also looking for volunteers to assist with setup from 7:30am and pack down at the end of the day, 2:45pm. If you can spare some time, we'd love your help.
Good luck to all our athletes. Whether you're aiming for a ribbon, a personal best, or simply giving it your best effort, we're proud of every student who gets involved.

Our students shone brightly yesterday, representing their houses with pride in the 8009m, discus, and high jump! 🤩The rest of the carnival kicks off on Friday. Best of luck to everyone! ❤️💛💙

🏉 Congratulations to our Slade Point boys who proudly represented the Barbarians Combined Schools rugby league team alongside students from Central and Victoria Park schools this term.

A big thank you to Victoria Park coach Mrs Warrell for welcoming our students to training sessions and supporting their development. Most of the boys were new to rugby league, but they showed great courage and commitment, giving their best each week while learning new skills and trying different positions.

We are proud of their teamwork, resilience and willingness to have a go!
