Since the dawn of humanity, tribes have been the cornerstone of our social fabric, shaping our identities and defining our relationships. In the midst of our bustling modernity, we remain tethered to our innate longing for connection and kinship. While the complexities of contemporary life have, in some ways, disconnected us from each other, they have also presented us with a profound opportunity for deeper, more meaningful connections. No longer bound by the primal instinct for survival, especially in the privileged corners of the world, we are free to come together in a spirit of pure celebration and appreciation for one another.

It is a beautiful evolution: to gather with those we hold dear, not out of necessity, but out of a genuine desire to bask in the light of their presence. In these moments, we bear witness to the true essence of human relations—the simple yet profound act of recognizing and honoring the uniqueness of each individual within our tribe.

In a world where so much divides us, the celebration of our shared humanity becomes a powerful force, uniting us in a bond that transcends the constraints of time and space. Sound is all around us. It’s tempting to disregard its power and underestimate it simply because we do not experience it through our eyes, taste, or touch.

Yet, sound has an equal effect on all of the above. Consider the sharp grinding of metal or the cries of a baby, and recall the intense emotional states these can bring: frustration, alarm, anger, anxiety.

When we expose ourselves to sound, it enters the auditory nerve, resonating and transforming our body and the way we feel.

When we come into contact with certain sounds, they not only have the power to elicit emotions but also to heal.

Tibetan sound bowls have been used for centuries. Used as a guide and aid in meditation, these instruments can help to clear, calm, and center the mind.

it’s not often that we resonate with a teacher so strongly, walk into any spiritual section of a book store and you’l be greeted by dozens and dozens of teachers, all with something to offer, yet few we feel drawn to on a deep level.

For me, interacting with the teachings of Ram Dass immediately had a different quality to it, it was like a deep voice within said “yeah, right on, this feels authentic”
and i have been resonating with him ever since.

There are many teachers, you will encounter along the way. So many offerings and experiences that have the power to shape you throughout your life, yet, when you feel that intuitive voice come, listen and welcome that being into your heart.
