Commencing at Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge in the Northern Territory, the Jatbula Walk is a captivating 62km multi-day journey that unfolds through the breathtaking ancient terrain of Nitmiluk National Park. The walk traces the route travelled by generations of Jawoyn people from the gateway of Nitmiluk Gorge to Leliyn (Edith Falls).

We welcome guests on this fully guided and catered walk, to share in small groups, the country of the Jawoyn people and the opportunity to experience an unsurpassed connection with nature first hand. Each day ends at one of our well-appointed private camps, where you can cool off in the waterhole.

Iconic Walks and the Black Cockatoo.

The Black Cockatoo is a truly iconic symbol of Australia’s wildlife, boasting five distinct species scattered throughout the country. These charismatic birds embody the unique rugged essence of our vast, wild landscapes. Roaming in familial flocks, they exhibit a profound sense of camaraderie and create robust social connections.

As an Australian company that endeavours to create unique, cultural and natural experiences that bring people from all over the world together, we felt these characteristics of the black cockatoo truly represented the ideals of our company.
