F&G Design is now offering wedding and event social content creation. For all the behind the scenes footage, the details you’ve spent months obsessing over and all the intimate moments you’d like to remember for years to come and also share with all your friends and family !

This service is available for existing and new clients. We can also cater to events that we aren’t featured in! Not only is this giving our clients the most beautiful gift to keep but also providing exposure for our Tasmanian vendors and venues to capture intimate footage of all the talent and amazing destinations that are available in this beautiful island of ours 💚

Our package is $700 which includes:
✨ Three reels
✨ Unlimited unedited photos
✨ Free in person consult
✨ All footage captured on an iPhone with a 24 hr turn around

The florist behind the flowers 💐

I’m Nell and I’m the owner and head florist at F&G Design. I have been in the industry for thirteen magical years. I started my days in the florist world at the legendary “Morty’s Florist” in Launceston at the ripe age of sixteen.

I knew from a young age that school wasn’t for me. I’ve always enjoyed getting my hands dirty, being creative and trying new things ! I spent three years washing dirty buckets and then finally decided it was time to complete my accreditation on the Gold Coast and start pursuing my real career in floristry.

I then spent time working in florists across the GC and Western Australia. After seven years abroad, it was time to head back to my island home and family, taking a much wider range of experience and knowledge in the industry back with me.

I was lucky enough to acquire a position in one of the leading florists in Hobart, where I spent the next three years learning and perfecting my skills from my amazing mentor and boss at the time. I truly found my floral self in this position and am so grateful for all I learned during this role.

My husband and I then decided it was time to move back to Launceston to be with our family and start a little family of our own.

I secured a job at the Launceston florist wholesalers, I really enjoyed learning all the ‘behind the scenes’ work and being able to appreciate all the hard work that goes on to guarantee us florists are happy. Very inspiring job and definitely helped with my journey to go out on my own.

In 2023

F&G Design was born.

F&G Design is an event floral studio, focusing on free lance floral design, weddings and event floristry. After working across so many different ranges of florists, I can positively say that this is my forte and passion. My direction for my business is to keep evolving with times, be as sustainable and eco friendly as possible and also to be loyal and honest with my clients.
