💕 it may have been cold and wet but Albany you were still beautiful. Loving our trip in Western Australia.

I read a beautiful post this morning, written by one of the owners of the business I partner with.

It was about finding a partner, and it really made me reflect on what that means, and I concluded it about enhancing each other’s lives.

And I can honestly say I have found that with David.

Since meeting him, my confidence has grown, my self-worth has deepened and I feel more like myself, not less.

We have shared some incredible experiences together, travelled to amazing places and created memories I will treasure forever.

And sharing those moments with him makes them feel even more special.

There is a line from After Life that has always stayed with me:

“Marriage is having someone witness your life.”

I find that incredibly powerful.

To have someone who sees the ordinary days as well as the extraordinary ones.
Someone who knows the full story.
Someone who is there for the highs, the lows, the laughter, the challenges and everything in between.

Here we are sharing something we both love, a day out at the wineries. Margaret River we loved you. 😍

😍 Forever grateful that my Monday mornings look very different these days.

There was a time when Monday meant the alarm going off, jumping out of bed, getting ready for work, commuting, and spending the day in an office with my diary largely dictated by everyone else.

These days, Monday feels very different.

I get to wake up and decide what I want my morning to look like.

Maybe it’s a run.
Maybe it’s coffee somewhere lovely.
Maybe I work for a few hours.
Maybe I catch up with someone I care about.
Maybe I simply take the morning slowly.

The biggest difference isn’t that I don’t work.

I absolutely do.

It’s that I now have far more choice over when I work, where I work and how I structure my day.

I don’t take that freedom for granted.

Sometimes success isn’t about having more.

Sometimes it’s simply about having more say over how you spend your time.

Happy Monday. ☕️✨ ❤️

😍 For those following our travels.

Last week we had a wonderful Sunday. We woke to a great gym session with a beautiful view in Perth. Had a lovely lunch and walk in Busselton and then visited multiple beautiful beaches on our journey to Margaret River.

Lots of whales, with one very close in the bay.

😍 I took this picture as the sun went down last Friday and here we are at the end of not only another week but another month.

I was reflecting on how incredible life is as David and I travel the world together.

The beautiful places we have travelled to, the views we have sat and admired, the nature we have immersed in. The places we have ran and walked. The fabulous food we have tasted, the wine we have savoured and most of all the amazing people we have met along the way.

As we travel across Australia and come to the end of another week. I am deeply grateful to the business that allows all this to happen.

Happy Friday - We are on our way to Esperance.

😍 We visited Cook, sitting in the middle of the Nullarbor, and it immediately reminded me of something Shane says often;

We live in the best time of all times.

Standing there, miles from civilisation, in the heat, looking at how people once lived, it really put things into perspective.

How often do we let the small things get to us?

A delayed flight.
Not knowing how to do something.
A slow internet connection.
A bad coffee.
A minor inconvenience.
Something not quite going to plan.
A cross word.

And yet here were people living in incredibly harsh conditions, far from everything, making do with what they had.

The thought of being locked in that tiny jail in that heat.

But people were resilient.
People were resourceful.
People adapted.
People made the best of things.

They found joy in simple pleasures and didn’t allow every little inconvenience to ruin their day.

It was such a powerful reminder that while life today is far from perfect, we have so much to be grateful for.

Sometimes we don’t need more.

We just need a little more perspective. ❤️

😍 No matter where we are in the world, there is aways time to fit a little business in.

Was it plain sailing on the Indian Pacific. No, very little service, but there was enough on and off to keep up.

A lovely evening of great company, food, wine and live music in Mclaren Vale

😍 These photos got me thinking.
Are you willing to stand out?
Are you willing to stand for the life you want to create, rather than the life other people think you should have?
This drag queen was absolutely hilarious to hang out with and one thing was very clear, she certainly wasn’t worried about fitting in with convention. 😂 And yes… I even won the bingo! 🙌
There is something powerful about people who are unapologetically themselves.
When I started my online business, plenty of people had opinions. Some knew me well. Some barely knew me at all. And even now, there are still people who have opinions about the choices I make.
But here is the thing…
If I had built my life around other people’s expectations, I would never have created the life I have today.
At some point, you have to decide whose opinion matters most.
The conventional path may feel safer because more people understand it.
But if it is not the life you want, why keep choosing it simply to fit in?
Be willing to think differently.
Be willing to stand out.
Be willing to back yourself.
And most importantly, be willing to create a life that feels right for you.
Other people can have their opinions.
They just don’t get to make your decisions. ❤️

😍 I’ve been wanting to experience the Indian Pacific for a while and what a beautiful train and what an experience.

The team, the service, the people we’ve met along the way, fabulous. Here’s a little glimpse of our first afternoon.

The sleep over the three nights… well, perhaps we won’t talk too much about that! 😂

But as I lay awake each night, I found myself thinking about the last time I crossed Australia around 40 years ago, in a truck.

And suddenly, lying there in a comfortable bed, with my own bathroom, travelling across this incredible country by train, I felt nothing but gratitude.

Same country. Very different experience.

It was such a simple reminder that so much of life really is about perspective.

Sometimes we get caught up focusing on what isn’t perfect, when actually, if we stop and look at how far we’ve come, there is so much to be grateful for. ❤️

And yes… I’ll take the comfy bed and ensuite over the truck these days! 😂

😍 It all began on a beautiful lunch cruise around Sydney harbour.

Such a stunning day and I never tire of this beautiful view.

This is a laptop and phone lifestyle.
