News Alert | South Australia's proposed Foreign Ownership Surcharge | News Alert | South Australia's proposed Foreign Ownership Surcharge(8) Following the failed Budget Measures Bill, the South Australian Government introduced a separate Bill that provides for a Foreign Ownership Surcharge (FOS) of 7% on the purchase of residential land by foreign persons or entities. This Surcharge is in addition to the stamp duty already payable.
