Following up after Monday's power gains, here is the custom 3in exhaust by PJZ Customs in all of it's glory!

The RD7 shares alot of it's underbody design with DC5 Intergra's + EP3 Civic's and alot of the 'off the shelf' 3in systems inherently hit on the body under the driver's seat and around the rear subframe where it goes up and over the rear LCA's. PJ has got the fitment perfect and we have not experienced any unwanted noises from the new system.

Our long time customer brought his RD7 CRV in needing some work carried out in preperation for some big breathing mods early next year and one of the area's that needed attending to was the broken flex joint in the current 2.5in exhaust, and after a quick chat with the client, we got PJZ Customs to fab up a new header back system for us (pictures will be in a seperate post).

Upon receiving the CRV back, we bolted the old girl onto the hub dyno and went through the tune to suit the new exhaust. Final peak numbers of 152kw / 224.1nm (6.1kw / 7.2nm peak gains) on 98RON prove once again that the good old peoples engine love a 3in exhaust. We were also able to increase the limiter to 8500rpm (as on the previous 2.5in we had power fall over quite hard after 7600rpm) which gave us a 2500rpm window from 6000rpm to redline where power was 138kw and over!

We have also picked 3 different points over the rpm range in the 2nd, 3rd & 4th pictures to show the biggest gains, as peak numbers don't show everything.
