Join Liam from OM Taste to learn and play traditional Italian card games!

Over the 6 weeks, we’ll learn and play three much-loved Italian card games — Scopa, Briscola and Scala Quaranta.

Whether you have Italian heritage, fond memories of family card games, or simply enjoy learning something new, this is a great opportunity to meet people, have some fun and discover a much-loved part of Italian culture.

No previous experience is necessary! Liam will take you through the rules, strategies and traditions of each game, followed by plenty of guided play in small groups.

Afternoon tea will be provided.

Come for the games, stay for the company!

The sessions will run for 6 weeks — book just one session or come along to all six. It’s completely up to you!

Come dressed as your favourite book character and join us for a magical Storytime full of stories, craft and fun! Plus, thanks to Griffith Regional Theatre, you'll have the chance to win one of two family passes to Room on the Broom. We can't wait to see your wonderful costumes!

Saturday Screening | Saturday 29 August at 1pm
Drama | 2hrs 6mins, William Shakespeare and his wife, Agnes, celebrate the birth of their son, Hamnet. However, when tragedy strikes and Hamnet dies at a young age, it inspires Shakespeare to write his timeless masterpiece "Hamlet."

And that’s a wrap on Day 3 of our Book Week celebrations!

What an incredible day! The schools were just amazing, and we’ve loved bringing the magic of books to so many little readers.

Matt finished the day by driving our infants crazy with his hilarious book This Is a Ball — there were plenty of laughs, giggles and lots of fun!

Everyone left with big smiles, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to finish the day.
