Today, this delicate edible flower is just as loved for its beauty as its benefits — adding a soft splash of colour to cakes, salads, and seasonal dishes.

A reminder that some of the most beautiful things in the garden are also very useful.

As we plan for Griffith Spring Fest, we’re inspired by nature's little treasures!

The Griffith Tourism Team is currently seeking sponsors for the 2026 Griffith Spring Fest, our flagship festival.

This year's festival will be held from 11–24 October 2026, bringing together locals and visitors to celebrate the very best of our region.

We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of our sponsors. Griffith Spring Fest would not be possible without the generosity and commitment of our local businesses and community partners.

Over the two-week festival period in 2025, an estimated 109,000 people attended, with more than 50% travelling from outside the region. This visitation delivers a significant economic boost to Griffith and showcases our region to a wide audience.

Riverina is Australia’s largest citrus growing region, producing a third of its citrus and the largest amount of orange juice.

Those who have visited Griffith during Spring, may have had the opportunity to experience the bright, colourful and festive annual Griffith Spring Fest that features orange sculptures created by local businesses within the community.

Citrus is a big and well celebrated part of our region!
