Support Care Disability Services offer individual skills building, community and social engagement

We at Support Care Disability Services do not endorse Political Parties as we believe every political party must support our most vulnerable members of the community. We do however support individuals who believe in local government and only local government. There is a local council election in Lockwood Ward Bendigo. I also understand there are candidates for the Greens and One Nation and perhaps others Political aligned people who are also standing at this election. Importantly let us all be reminded of what the Local Governments role is:
Local councils are responsible for delivering essential services, representing community interests, and exercising legal powers to improve local life. Councillors are the heart of community life giving residents a democratic voice and enable participation in local decision making.
I have not found anything of note where local government are used to push the agenda of political parties or to use local government as a way into state or federal politics.
The NDIS and other government agencies are there to represent the most vulnerable. I ask who is there to represent them on local issues, if we are using Local Government as a steppingstone to voice your political ideology. I can however come out and support one person who represents the people for the people. Aay Mishra
I will not go into the endless qualities of Ajay. Yes, he is a friend but above all he is a kind and generous man. Ajay is a passionate cricketer. I have often asked him to have a net with one of our participants and out he comes ready to bat or bowl for however long. Ajay is someone I can count on as a friend but as a voice for everyone regardless of who you are. Ajay is not political he is however passionate about Lockwood ward and Bendigo. He will bring a voice to local government and fulfil the role of what councillor new and old forget. This is why we need more Ajay's in the world.
