Five Rivers Rover Crew

Members of Five Rivers Rover unit have been busy this year with training. Our amazing unit chair Emilee completed her scouting essentials and her SP vertical-Abseiling. Josh completed his scouting essentials, scouting adventure, vertical rescue course and his basic water rescue course. We also had brock receive his wood badge. BRAVO to all the members of Five Rivers that have been working hard this year to expand their horizons. .australia

Josh recently organised a pioneering night, Although we caught some bad luck and got hit by a hail storm we were able to adapt and overcome. We changed our plan from building an aerial runway outside to building an hourglass inside. Massive shoutout to Warren Hope for helping us on the night. .australia

Five Rivers Rover Unit recently had a great time at St George’s Ball 2025!

Five Rivers Rover Unit had the pleasure of booting 3 members of our unit (Chelsea, Bianca and Kyle) earlier this year is September. We had an amazing weekend camping at Murrenbong Scout Campsite, where we enjoyed paddling, hatchet throwing, A formal booting ceremony and lots of comradeship.

Last week, Josh ran an adventure geocaching night, and we were divided into teams to find as many as possible. 🧭🌲📍🔍

This week our Rovers were reaching new heights at Core Climbing Carrara — chalk up, climb on! Thanks Brock for organising. 🧗🏼🪨⛰️💪🏼.

Teamwork, creativity, and a touch of engineering! Our Rover Scout unit put their pioneering skills to the test, building mini structures with lashings and lots of laughs. Who’s ready to construct these models for real?
