It was fantastic to see so many families join us on Saturday and get a glimpse of life at Kin Kora State School. From classrooms and nature play spaces to meeting our staff, there was plenty to explore.
A big thank you to our staff who gave up part of their weekend to be there. We are lucky to have a team who care so deeply about our students and families.
One of the reasons we held this event was to start building connections early. Community matters to us at Kin Kora, and we want our future Prep families to feel part of our school long before the first day of Prep. Judging by the smiles, conversations and new friendships forming, I’d say we achieved exactly that.

What a cracking three days of Sports Day!
A huge thank you to everyone who played a part in making it such a success.
To Mrs Peters and Mrs Hilson for the countless hours behind the scenes organising, planning and keeping everything running smoothly.
To our incredible P&C for the early starts, setting up each day and keeping everyone fed and watered.
To our parents and families for coming along, cheering from the sidelines and creating such a positive atmosphere for our students.
To our wider community for your ongoing support of Kin Kora State School.
And to our amazing teachers, teacher aides and support staff who spent three days setting up, packing up, supervising, encouraging and ensuring every student had the opportunity to participate and shine.
Three days of sunshine, school spirit and plenty of core memories unlocked. Events like Sports Day don’t happen without a village, and we are incredibly grateful for ours. 💚💛🐝
