Red Cars Go Faster 🏎

I'm sure it's scientifically proven somewhere...

Whip panning on slow shutter speeds proves to be tricky when your subject is moving at 150km+ through corners, but I love a challenge.
Had a blast at the this year capturing some special details of across the weekend.

Absolutely love this sport and have great admiration for the drivers, teams and everyone involved in putting on the race weekends.
Hope to see more of the red team at the top for this season 🐎

🇹🇭 Thai Sunsets 🌇

Patong Beach highlights the amazing activities on offer as the sun sets on a beautiful day in Thailand.

The beach offers a chance to wind down from a busy day of navigating vendors, motorcycle and tuktuk traffic as well as the wild night-life of Patong's bars, nightclubs and more. 🏓

Beneath the flashing lights lies the grind of families looking to make a living with mobile food stations on motorcycles with their children in-tow, and adults doing what they can to make it by.

Took in an L and lost a memory card today along with a thousand or so images so here's the best from card 2.
Disappointed I may never see those photos. Was a great experience with some excellent action on show, and up close. Wish I could have shared those with you!

Had a blast rocking out to the greatest lyricist in the world recently and I couldn't help but share some images from the night.

For the pixel peepers, these are far from perfect but not bad for low light at an event where cameras are limited. Some of my favourites from the event.

A tumultuous race day at Melbourne with the weather showing up in true Victorian fashion. Adding some extra spicy results to the day with unexpected moments all day.

Congrats to the boys at and for their first win for the season. Huge respect to and the amazing effort on the day. Greatness is coming, and we just got a taste!

It's been a fast weekend, and I couldn't be more excited to see the new guy in red.
Three days of beautiful sunny weather until race day!
Excited to potentially catch some wet driving action even though I will probably resemble a wet napkin at the end of it.
Another awesome weekend. Now comes the race 🏁

Game, Set, Match

Although I love capturing portraits, landscapes and the fine details of life and product design, I do love sports.
I love playing sports and watching professional athletes do their thing.
The last of the highlights from my small stint at the Aus Open 2025, I spent the time timing motions, actions and shadows contrast to the court.
Trying to time the camera shutter with the angle of players racquets and the ball to create a 'double' with the shadows on court.
Trial and error, but good fun, nonetheless.

Evening Glow

A photographers dream would be to have the ability to pause time. Oh wait? They do!
The moment the shutter is triggered and the photo captured, a moment in time is held on to, forever.
From a lighting perspective, I would need to keep time frozen during a golden hour. Where the light is at it's dreamiest, contrasting perfectly with the clear skies, offering both highlights and shadows without having to hassle with exposure peaking.

Captured over the Makers & Shakers market weekend in Melbourne, the Exhibition Building is home to many artists and creatives that have their businesses on show for networking and selling their products. An amazing market to check out this year on April 5+6

Another year down and in the books. This time, the photo album.
Picking up from years past, film photography was back on the cards. Learning and changing how I go about the photography process and challenging my decision making when capturing moments on film rather than digital media.

Love the raw process of shooting film and I can't wait to capture more on this physical media; then scanned.
