Big shoutout to Scott from West Is The Way for coming down to our office last week and running a training session with the NLM team.

The session focused on practical strategies, methods and techniques to better support young males with a range of disabilities and individual needs.

It was a highly engaging and insightful session, giving our team new tools and perspectives to bring into the work we do every day.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn from Scott and would highly recommend West is the Way to anyone looking to strengthen their approach to disability support!

We’re excited to release our Easter School Holiday Program for April!

We’ll be running group activities on Tuesdays and Fridays (9:00am – 3:00pm) across the two-week period.

🟢 Tuesday 7th April – You Yangs Outdoor Adventure

Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Meet: NLM HQ (St Albans Football Club)

Plan:
• Travel to the You Yangs
• 60–90 min Big Rock hike
• Lunch at Lara Bakery
• Afternoon games & hangout at HQ

Cost:
• Activity: Free
• Lunch: $15
• Total: $15

🟢 Friday 10th April – Flipout + Playground

Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Meet: NLM HQ

Plan:
• HQ hangout
• Flipout trampoline park (1–1.5 hrs)
• Fish & chips lunch
• St Albans Park playground

Cost:
• Activity: $19 (Flipout entry)
• Lunch: $15
• Total: $34

🟢 Tuesday 14th April – BMX Ride + HQ Hangout

Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Meet: NLM HQ

Plan:
• Ride from HQ → Rail Trail → Newcomb BMX Track
• BMX riding & skill work
• Return to HQ + games

Important:
• Bring bike + helmet
• If you need one organised, please let us know

Cost:
• Activity: Free
• Lunch: $15 (Domino’s)
• Total: $15

🟢 Friday 17th April – Arcade + Laser Tag + Park

Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Meet: NLM HQ

Plan:
• Arcade games + Laser Quest
• Lunch in town
• Rippleside Park hangout

Cost:
• Activity: $25 arcade + $12 laser tag ($37 total)
• Lunch: $15
• Total: $52
