70 series owners, look away.

Electronically adjustable mirrors. Heated seats. Wood grain and leather steering wheel. Features that a brand new 79 still doesn’t have…on a 80 series from the 90s.

What else did we miss? Drop it in the comments.

More and more 4WDs are coming with an AdBlue tank. What exactly is AdBlue and what does it mean for owners?

So we put together a full breakdown in the carousel above. What it is, how it works, how to top it up, and the two mistakes that’ll cost you real money.

Would you buy diesel with AdBlue?

Simple setups are underrated.

We installed practical dual battery system tucked inside the already installed drawer system.

Invicta 100Ah lithium battery with bluetooth capability so the owner can monitor charge in and out from his phone. Redarc Alpha 25A BCDC handling the charging.

All fusing is mounted right above the battery. Easy to access, easy to diagnose.

You don’t need to overcomplicate it. Got a build coming up that needs a tidy electrical setup? Give us a call

As of 1 November 2025, changes to ADR 80/04 (Euro VI emissions) shut down the federal pre-rego GVM pathway for the entire 70 Series range. Every model, both engines. The 4.5L V8 isn’t coming back…it’s done 😭

Post-rego might still be an option depending on your kit, your engineer, and your state.

If you’ve got a 70 Series in QLD and you’re not sure where you stand call us. We deal with this every day.

Ever wondered what’s actually involved in installing a RAM 1500 chassis brace?

It’s not a quick bolt-on job.

To brace it properly the tub has to come off, along with the fuel tank, tow bar and rear suspension so we can access and reinforce the chassis where it matters. Then everything goes back together to factory standard.

After doing a good number of these we’ve got the process down.

If you’ve been quoted for a RAM chassis brace and wondered what actually goes into it. Hopefully you’ve got a better idea after watching this.

It’s a big job but reinforcing the chassis properly is worth doing once and doing right.

Just bought a Ranger and don’t know where to start?

Here are 5 mods we see most Ranger owners doing first…

1. Bullbar – protection + recovery points + winch option.
2. Canopy – secure storage
3. GVM upgrade – because factory payload disappears fast.
4. Bash plates – protect the expensive bits underneath.
5. Long-range fuel tank – more range when you’re touring or towing.

Might not be the craziest build. But it’s a Ranger build that works for how you use it.

Ranger owners - what was your first mod?

If you’re towing heavy in a RAM 1500… this is something you need to know.

The rear section of the RAM 1500 DT chassis is a known weak point when you start loading it up with big caravans, heavy trays, boat loaders or constant tow ball weight.

Over time, that flex turns into cracks. And once it cracks, you’re in for a world of pain.

Chassis bracing isn’t a “performance mod.” It’s preventative.

Our RAM chassis bracing kit reinforces the rear section of the chassis to reduce flex under load - especially important if you’re running a GVM upgrade or towing regularly.

If you own a RAM 1500 Laramie or Limited check chassis isn’t starting to crack.

Solar panels won’t work in the shade.

Sounds obvious… but you’d be surprised how many times we hear:
“Mate, my power system isn’t charging.” or “Hey my fridge is dead”

Then the car’s parked under a tree.

If you’re running a solar panel on your 4WD or canopy, it needs sunlight. No sun = no charge.

Before you stress about your dual battery setup, check the simple stuff:
☀️ Are the panels actually in the sun?
☀️ Are they clean?
☀️ Is something casting a shadow?

Sometimes it’s not a wiring issue.

If you're towing with your RAM 1500, this is the stuff we won't skip.

1. Long-range fuel tank - because that Hemi V8 is it even thirstier when towing

2. GVM upgrade - to legally and safely carry the everything

3. Chassis bracing - to prevent long-term damage to your chassis especially when under-load.

Your RAM will tow better, last longer, and be set up properly for Australian conditions with these mods.
