TANNIN & COTTON NATURAL DYE WORKSHOP - Tickets available now!
Wrap yourself in warmth and creativity this winter. Step into the inviting atmosphere of our sister stores home the Fremantle Fibonacci Centre, where steaming tannin-rich dye pots and a soul-warming drink by Hinata Cafe await.
In this intimate, hands-on workshop, you’ll receive a beautifully crafted hand-spun, hand-woven cotton scarf from The Anjelms Project and an expert guidance in mordanting and natural dyeing with Annette Wiguna. Choose from three rich earthy dye extracts: myrobalan, cutch, and pomegranate.
While your scarf simmers the pot, local spinner and cotton grower Jean Anning will share the journey of cotton, from seed to thread. We will finish by exploring optional colour modifiers to deepen or warm the shade of your scarf.
This workshop is perfect for beginners and anyone drawn to the alluring beauty of plant-based colour.
Limited places available - bookings essential through our website link : https://anjelms.com

Kullvi Whims. 🏔️

Tucked away in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh, a remarkable group of women are creating something truly special. Every piece is handspun, naturally dyed, and handknitted from scratch — no two alike, each one carrying the warmth and skill of the hands that made it.

A little piece of the Himalayas, wrapped around your shoulders.

As the mornings grow crisp and the evenings call for something cosy, these beautiful textures and earthy colours are about to become your new cold-weather essential. The kind of piece you reach for every single day.

A gentle warning though — with pieces this beautiful, they won't last long. Get in quickly before beats you to it. 😄

Feeling a little chilly? We’ve got you covered with ❄️

Every piece begins high in the Himalayas, where shepherds gather wool from their flocks in the cold mountain air. That wool is then handspun and handknitted in the Kullu valley by artisans who have inherited this craft over generations.
Our Mojiri Motif Socks, Lahauli Motif Mitts, and Handknitted Pompom Beanies aren’t just winter essentials—they’re the result of time, skill, and tradition. Each motif is carefully worked by hand, each piece shaped slowly, with no two ever the same.
Come and visit us 🙂 Open Friday – Sunday, 9am–6pm. 🧶✨

For over 15 years, we’ve had the privilege of working alongside — a beautiful craft-led initiative dedicated to preserving traditional embroidery and supporting artisan communities.
Through small-batch, collaborative production, heritage techniques are kept alive and thoughtfully connected with contemporary design. Every stitch carries generations of knowledge, patience, and care.

Many of the pieces you see in our store today are the result of this long and meaningful partnership — a collaboration that continues to support artisan livelihoods and celebrate the beauty of handmade work.
