Were you at the HEPI Annual Conference last week?

Our team was in attendance as a proud supporter of the event, where we were on the ground discussing how our OneEducation solutions and our agentic AI products, Plus and Guide, can support universities across the UK.

Cheryl Watson, our Vice President for Education in the UK, also joined a panel, chaired by Mary Curnock Cook CBE, to discuss the impact of technology and AI on the future of universities and the graduate labour market.

"Technology enables performance, but people create outcomes." - Danielle Windle, EVP - People & Culture at TechnologyOne

Dani joined the 'Jobs of the Future' panel at Vogue Codes over the weekend with Armina Rosenberg, Co-founder and Co-portfolio Manager, Minotaur Capital and Ewan MacMillan, Deputy Director-General of Operations at ASIS. They discussed the opportunities for women to grow their careers in STEM, especially as we enter a new age of innovation and AI.

We took this theme to our event booth, where 273 guests had the opportunity to discover their professional archetypes with a matching tarot card 🔮

At TechnologyOne, we see AI evolving roles, not removing people, and we have seen this through the wide breadth and tenure of many people within our business.

After the success of our first Build Together Session, we hosted three across Australia today!

Team members in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth joined Beyond the Boardroom for a Skateboard it Forward session, building and personalising skateboards that will empower young people in our community.

We had our first-ever Build Together Session yesterday - a new initiative from the TechnologyOne Foundation, launched as part of International Men's Health Week and similar to men's shed activities.

These sessions allow our team to come together in their office spaces, make a real difference in our community, and spend time with their colleagues. Unlike our Impact Buses, these sessions only require an hour or two of our team's time.

Today, the team in Brisbane made 1,000 sandwiches for school children with Eat Up Australia, which will provide sustenance that supports learning, growth and success.

We had a lot to cover in last week's Town Hall - let's take a look at what the event entailed!

With our half-year financial results announced recently, we took the opportunity to recap the numbers:

📈Profit Before Tax of $89.1m, up 9%
🪙ARR of $598.0m, up 17%
💻Our AI roadmap, including AI-enabled products, Plus and Guide
🤝Our investment in our people

And more!

We also announced our Hack Day 19 People's Choice Winners (stay tuned to meet them!), saw a snippet from Ed's conversation about a new book called "The Coffee Can Investor - A Stock-Picker's Journey to Build Generational Wealth", and heard updates from around the grounds.

Exciting news! We have just won the Queensland Gives 2026 Queensland Philanthropy Awards 🎉

Thank you to The Salvation Army Australia for nominating us. We are so proud to work with organisations like Salvos that are making a difference in our community.

Philanthropy is in our DNA, and shines through our dedicated team members who are always looking for opportunities to commit to our 1% Pledge, whether through donations, Impact Buses, and more.

Shout out to the team who accepted this award on behalf of the company: Danielle Windle, Holly Bond, Susan Humphreys, Adam Petterson and Lynda Inglis.

This week, TechnologyOne's Product Owner, Lisa Forster, and Talent Acquisition Advisor, Judy Goddard, had the pleasure of attending QUT (Queensland University of Technology)’s Faculty of Science Dean's Scholar networking lunches.

Lisa and Judy enjoyed discussing with the students and sharing real-world insights and career pathways into what it's like to work at one of Australia's leading SaaS companies, providing different perspectives from different teams at TechnologyOne.

Fostering the next generation of tech professionals and showcasing local opportunities are important parts of who we are at TechnologyOne.
