Round 9 WRAP-UP 🦏

The Seniors went in to battle on Saturday at Whitford in what was always going to be a challenging day, with both our sides undermanned.

The Reserves got off to a slow start but wrestled the match back on their terms and came out victors.

The League side fought manfully all day with the scoreboard not reflecting the effort put in.

We’re back at home this Saturday against Kingsley πŸ”΄πŸ”΅

Reminder to our Auskick families tomorrow!

🧦 Let's Sock It to Sarcoma! 🧦

This week is set to be a little more colourful! We encourage all our Auskickers, players, parents and volunteers to wear their brightest odd socks as we come together to raise awareness for sarcoma.

Sarcoma is a group of rare and aggressive cancers that develop in the bones and soft tissues. It can affect people of all ages and is the second most common cancer in children and adolescents aged 0–19 years. Sarcomas also account for around 10% of cancers diagnosed in young people aged 15–25 years.

Because the symptoms can often resemble sporting injuries, sarcomas in children and young adults can sometimes be misdiagnosed, making awareness and early detection so important.

Join us tomorrow, pull on your odd socks, and help us Sock It to Sarcoma! πŸ’™β€οΈπŸ§¦
