Hello friends. I’ve been away from socials for much of this past year. A few ppl are wondering where I’ve been, and the answer is that I’ve just been focusing on other things and taking a bit of a healthy break from posting online. I’ve been working, writing songs, being a dad. And I figured I would come back and start posting again when I had some exciting music-related stuff to talk about. Which I do now. There’s some dope s**t happening, and I’ll have some announcements for you next week. Thanks as always for riding with me. Mad love ❤️

This was the moment we finally took the stage after almost a year of preparing for this show.
It was so clear that the crowd felt exactly how we did - relieved, overjoyed, PROUD even, that we stuck through it and we finally made it.
There were tears in my eyes. My hands were shaking and it took me a minute before I could speak. Which as I’m sure you know, is rare 😂
I’ll never forget this moment.

Friday night was one of the most profound experiences of my musical life. Perhaps my life in general. The love, the relief, the release, the joy, the tears, the outpouring of emotion.
The collective energy and love I felt in that room was unlike anything I’ve ever known.
Thank you to everyone who was there, who contributed to that feeling, who rode with us through a year’s worth of setbacks, postponements, challenges and heartbreaks.
It felt like the closing of a chapter. Not just after the rollercoaster of trying to make the gig happen. But finally being able to properly farewell that record, to let it go, and the years of trauma and grief that went along with it.
I am forever indebted to my incredible team, my incredible fans, my friends and my family.
I promise I will continue doing what I do as long as you allow me to share it with you.
There’s so much more to say and I’m sure there will be more posts over the coming days but for now, just know my heart is full of love, joy, relief and contentment.
I couldn’t be more lucky. ❤️❤️
