"RITUALS OF ERASURE" is a cassette only release, offering a stark and introspective examination of human mortality. It is reflective, unembellished, and deliberate; speaking directly from the space between breath and silence.
These 4 songs are a more minimal approach to production and composition, yet it somehow feels quintessentially "Palliative"... minus the big snares.
The absence of a digital release should not be mistaken for nostalgia; it’s a statement and an embrace of something that at its core is very human, fragile, finite, and physical. Limited to tape. No digital afterlife.
As a companion digital release, "Remixes of Erasure" features each song remixed by an incredibly talented bunch of people: , , & (Infest8).

Sad to find out that the wonderful will be closing their doors after servicing the Peninsula for decades. The main question is, where will Brett Kingman's ex-demo pedals go now?!?
On the plus side, picked up a rather superb Cardinal, one I've casually eyed off for a while.
Might have to take it out for a walk next Saturday for The Oldie's big birthday bash.

GEAR APPRECIATION:
If we've spoken for longer than 5 minutes you'll know that I'm a massive gear ju**ie. This here is a snap of two absolute treasures: The Stonehead 50 and the Reverb.
I've been using this as my "quick chug" rig over the last while, favouring the AMT over the Orange TH100 for tighter metal tones (TH100 is still the ride or die amp though).
I guess its yellow, which is orange adjacent in colour but not in tone... well it is in tone... but not in tone...
You don't see AMT gear out that often but anything I've used from them has been solid.
