Please note: My fabric masks will not offer the full protection of a surgical mask. However, a study by Cambridge University showed that cotton blend fabric masks filtered out approximately 70% of particles that were 0.02 micron in size (5 times smaller than Covid 19 virus).

To bump up this 70% filterage, I have fitted these masks with an extra protective feature over regular handmade fabric masks. These masks have a pocket in the back where a filter is added.

Each mask comes with 1 'single outing' filter. More can be purchased from me on request or you can cut your own (using the one i send as a template) from vacuum bags, non woven cotton gauze from the pharmacy or even dried out wipes).

Mum recommends wearing with a drop of eucalyptus oil, smells divine and clears the sinuses ♡

Dedicated to our runway (event link in comments), this beautiful artwork was painted by Melbourne artist Harli BeSharp. It encapsulates the essence of our vision for Metamorphosis.
The painting shows the raw human body of a young female holding a t-shirt purchased irresponsibly... Her arm is transforming, almost a wing, as she morphes into a new way of being. She is leaving mass-produced fashion behind her and is ready to reclothe. The arms of mother nature take her back into their loving grasp. She is emerging anew, metamorphosed, in harmony with the butterflies and caterpillars upon her, living for a new shared future.

Designer's statement: I want my clothing to be an unveiling rather than a disguise or a disguise that works to unveil. My designs should encourage the wearer to step into, and explore, their own shoes. I see bold authenticity in these photos by Courtney. I see it in the way the models hold their bodies and look into the camera with trust. They are decorated to reveal their essence.
