Things have been quiet on this little corner of the world due to..well, 2020 BUT in a little ray of sunshine I am sporting this little one off piece for a Zoom interview in my chosen field today.

Today!! Git yourself down to for the snap fundraiser for fire relief! So many activities raising funds for a variety of great organisations helping those affected by the fires. I’ve donated two pieces made especially for the raffle, excited to see who wins!

Finishing touches done on these very special one off pieces I’ve donated to the raffle for snap fundraiser this Sunday at from 4pm!! I’ve been saving this special reclaimed horse charm for a Saddle Qlub event and it seems fitting to be getting together to raise funds for the bushfire appeal as well as awareness, political engagement and community togetherness.

For those of you unable to make the event I will be posting more items on my site today for purchase- all proceeds this month will be going towards helping those affected by the fires 💖💖

I am at a loss for words on how to describe the situation in Australia right now surrounding the bushfires. There are news stories everyday coming out about how many homes, lives and habitats lost. Those not directly experiencing fires close to them are choking on smoke (which is travelling as far as New Zealand). I feel so helpless to do something, but as a start have decided to donate 100% of all online sales to two bushfire appeals. Half will go to the Vinnies bushfire appeal helping families rebuild after losing homes and half will go to Wires protecting and rehabilitating wildlife also left homeless from the fires.

I mostly have one off pieces on my site but can make endless badges, and I’ll endeavour to get more online for purchase. If you want to donate directly to these funds you definitely should! In the meantime let’s keep helping each other, lobby our so called leaders and rebuild what we can 🌱

I’ve been experimenting with the wood burner after some people have contacted me about custom badges for them, but really I am interested in specifically making more dual pronoun badges if there is a demand. What badge would you like if I could make it? ✨✨

So excited to send a bundle of three (THREE!!) pieces from my online store to a fellow Aussie that I packed them in their own little boxes I had from a friend. I have a few more boxes I will jazz up for the Christmas edition, 15 Dec at in time for 🌲🎁❤️

3 years ago I bought a necklace from a friend’s moving out sale which was so perfectly simple, elegant and (most importantly) fit nicely underneath a collar that it inspired me to start altering other pieces to do the same. I’ve since lost the necklace but the other day while in an op shop sourcing pieces to upcycle found an exact replica and had to have it.

To say this piece started what is now Dapplesource is a big claim but really, it did. I wasn’t finding anything to fit my tiny niche (pieces to wear with collared outfits) so I’m happy that finding it again reminded me how far I’ve come and where it can go next 🌺

Just popped these pearlescent collar pins in the post for a special human who contacted me after Saturday’s market, and after talking about their preference for silver I swapped out the chain (not pictured). Always happy to customise pieces to make sure you love them! 💖

Thanks to everyone who came to on Saturday!! I was also helping at the stall and it was amazing to see so many of us supporting our q***r community, we both had a bumper day!!
