Precious Repairs

The unmistakable berry-tones of rhodolite garnet always bring a smile to our faces. Here we have rescued them from an extremely worn-out old family piece that was beyond repair, along with a princess cut diamond and two old mine cut diamonds, and re-imagined them into a new handcrafted family heirloom to be passed to the next generation.

Here we have Claire at her first official function representing Australia for the World Skill Games to be held in Shanghai in September.
It was a Q & A session with the Manufacturing Industry Skills Alliance held at the State Library in Melbourne. Needless to say, Claire has done the jewellery trade proud with her words of wisdom and skills gained from such an amazing trade to be in.

Here we have the before and after shot where we have re-smeltered the old gold and put it back into the new fully handcrafted ring keeping with the original styling of yesterday-year.

A gorgeous pear shaped parti-sapphire, off-set with three round brilliant cut diamonds in this custom-made two tone yellow and white gold ring. Perfect colours to go with everything.

Here we have some 18ct yellow gold that’s just about to poured after a melt in readiness for the making process to begin. At a temperature of close to 1000degrees centigrade, it’s safe to say “it is red hot!”

This stunning handcrafted gents ring has a maximum ‘wow’ factor by butting two baguette diamonds right next to each other and by using contrasting metal finishes, the ring certainly leaves a lasting impression.
