Im working with a client in Strathmore to plant up their nature strip with indigenous grasses and plants. After months of preparation and a good dump of rain, we're all systems go on the planting now.

This nature strip will be one of many that are going to be showcased in a nature strip tour in August.

It’s his lucky day.

Keeping plants hydrated in summer can be relatively easy. I rotate through my plants giving one of them pole position for the day. Rinse water and flicking of the hands droplets are applied through out the day as domestic chores are completed at the sink. I check to ensure medium is moist by evening and pop back in place. It’s a spa day for plants!

This one is very neglected, but will pick up after it’s spa day.

Back to it and outside!!!

This client recruited Loop Living to create an indigenous garden at the front of their house. First phase is killing the invasive couch grass and other weeds to get the site ready. Over the next 8 weeks we will be using the power of the sun to cook the grass and weeds.

We're working with a client to dejungle their front garden so that it can be accessed and used and pull it back in line with its original design!!! Today we focussed on clearing the path and got nearly half way in.

Towards the end of the month im presenting at this community garden. We'll be touching on gardening approaches that are real game changers when growing food as well as looking at a few changes you can do in your home to reduce your impact on a daily basis.
