A magical morning ☀️


It’s getting warm and we will sweat more. There are lots of advantages with warm workouts and sweating……

1. Detoxification through sweating: Sweating is the body's natural way of cooling down, but it also plays a role in eliminating toxins from the body. Exercising in a warm room can lead to increased sweating, which can help expel toxins and impurities from the skin and body.

2. Increased flexibility and reduced risk of injury: Exercising in a warm environment can help increase your body’s temperature, which, in turn, can lead to increased flexibility in your muscles and joints. This can help you perform exercises with a greater range of motion, thus reducing the risk of strain or injury.

3. Enhanced circulation and cardiovascular benefits: Exercising in a warm room can cause your blood vessels to dilate, which can improve blood circulation throughout your body. This can help deliver more oxygen and nutrients to your muscles, improving their performance and overall cardiovascular health.

4. Increased calorie burn:
Working out in a warm room can elevate your body's core temperature, leading to an increase in metabolic rate. This means that you may burn more calories during your workout compared to exercising in a cooler environment.

5. Calming effects:
The heat can create a calming effect and may help reduce stress and anxiety, allowing you to be more present and focused during your exercise session.

Our new class is on the timetable for a trial over the next few weeks. This class is reformer plus! A more athletic class using props such as weights, and resistance bands! Plus some cardio sections thrown in! For those that want a little extra! 💪 Look out for it Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays!

Pilates is a great exercise for teenagers.
It helps them develop better body confidence and also helps improve posture, strength and coordination, while working the entire body and enhancing their overall health and well-being. It is a great way for them to take some time out and connect body and mind. ☘️

Teen classes will be held on Monday afternoons at 4.30 starting in September. Keep an eye on our class schedule to book in.
