With thanks to Ninti One, Community Works had the opportunity to attend the First Nations Clean Energy Symposium on Kabi Kabi Country last week.
We heard powerful stories of First Nations–led projects driving renewable energy and energy security, alongside important discussions on the need for energy justice.
A key takeaway: it’s time to move beyond an energy transition and start talking about an energy transformation, one that brings real opportunities to democratise energy and ensure First Nations people are at the centre of change.
