Huge congratulations to our 2026 graduates who completed their CPC10120 Certificate I in Construction and MEM20422 Certificate II in Engineering Pathways.
These students spent their high school years building real trade skills through hands-on training, setting themselves up with a genuine head start before they've even left school.
Family members, industry representatives and training partners including OSMAC Apprenticeships and PWR Advanced Cooling Technology joined the graduation ceremony to celebrate the milestone with them.
"By doing this course, you have just put yourself ahead of others who haven't done it."
That's what Ahmed Saloojee from OSMAC Apprenticeships told our VETiS graduates, and it's a reminder of what these students have already achieved before finishing high school.
These qualifications are funded by the Department of Trade, Employment and Training (DTET) through the VET in Schools (VETiS) program.

Bad day to be a bunker at the Master Builders BUSSQ Cairns Golf Day. ⛳
Sponsoring the 15th hole, Major Training's Cairns team were up bright an early to see the sun rise over the Cairns Golf Club.
Golfers put their tool knowledge to the test by blindly guessing as many tools as possible by touch for a gift voucher.

Congratulations to our newest graduates! 🎓
Major Training celebrated the graduation of students completing CPC10120 Certificate I in Construction and MEM20422 Certificate II in Engineering Pathways, with friends and family filling the room to cheer them on.
We were also proud to have Dave Camper, Training Manager from PWR Advanced Cooling Technology, join us to congratulate the 2026 graduates and share his own journey through the trades.
Graduates completed their qualification through our VET in Schools (VETiS) program, giving Queensland secondary students a head start on a trade career while still at school.
We look forward to seeing where these qualifications will take the 2026 graduates.

Ruby counts down the hours until she's back onsite building fences and working on house extensions.
The year 12 student at Mueller College is completing a School Based Apprenticeship, working towards her CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry, one full day a week through Major Training.
Earning while she learns, Ruby's passion for carpentry started long before her apprenticeship began.
A backyard tinkerer, Ruby worked on building a dog kennel from recycled pallets with her brother.
Seeing old materials transform into something useful was what sparked her interest in building, which grew into a real career path with Magill Brothers Construction.

Meet the graduates of Pathways to Production.
Delivered in partnership with Queensland Manufacturing Hub Gold Coast and MEGT Australia, the program prepared participants for the manufacturing floor with hands on engineering exposure, job interview preparation and two nationally recognised qualifications: Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) and Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (CPCWHS1001).
Certificates were presented with PWR Advanced Cooling Technology, Riviera Boats and Crimsafe on hand to celebrate the graduates.
