Holiday craft project - circular weaving from 💜 I've been working on this project on and off for over a year now and finally found time to finish the weaving.
But is it complete? Not sure if it needs wool around the wooden hoop? Or tassles below??

Nowaki stitch update to back of my favourite, well patched jeans! I prefer the curved sashiko stitch patterns as they are more forgiving of my imprecise stitch length than the angular patterns!!

Repair to torn sleeve on a beloved leather jacket! I used fishbone stitch from to bring the tear together with embroidered flowers to embellish the sleeve (and drawn attention away from the tear!)

Hello sewing machine, my old friend!! 💛 Been about 8 months since this was packed away to move house!
Until a new studio space is constructed there will be a sewing end to the dining table!
I'm still not sure where my extra pair of snips are packed and I had to go rummaging thru the packing box to find the bobbin cover! Moving and unpacking is a hassle, right??

Two new knees!! So sad when you fav jeans give way, right?
I wanted these repairs to blend in with the faded denim so chose variegated grey sashiko thread for the stitches and muted colours for the fabric patches 💙💚💙

Actual repairs are at the base of jumper and on the sleeve, but you can't have too many spots of colour, right?
