📚The Tapes by Kerry Wilkinson
📚A great easy read thriller, it follows a woman who in cleaning out her dads home after his death, comes across recordings of her long missing mother - leading her on a hunt for a serial killer!! Really short chapters and a twist at the end that I was surprised by which was great. Kerry has many titles in our collection and they are all small books (with not too small print) so great to pop in your bag when you're waiting at appointments

"The Living Knowledge Project: Bridging Cultures through Storytelling
Devonport Library partnered with the local Aboriginal community to present the Living Knowledge Project. The project was a year-long residency program for Tasmanian Aboriginal individuals to share personal journeys through storytelling and integrating oral traditions into libraries.
The quotes we share are from the conversations with residents sharing their personal journeys through the ancient art of yarning and storytelling.
The Living Knowledge Project invites all community members to listen, learn, and engage with the rich mosaic of Tasmanian Aboriginal culture and its people. Together, let us honour the past, celebrate the present, and forge a brighter future built on understanding and respect.
