It’s FIESTA TIME!
The clouds are building and rain will soon come. Flame trees, frangipanis and native trees burst into flower in the intense humidity.
In Sweden, (my mother’s country and place where I grew up in summertime holidays) my sister and aunty are now gathering wild mushrooms from the forest across the lake. In Mexico, this is the time to celebrate the fine line between life and death, something I have personally experienced this year. Death is part of life, life is part of death. All is interconnected. I have been given a second chance, a time now to dance and be thankful.
Here in the Tropics, I celebrate the blossoms and the bush chooks, the heat and the storms of the Larrakia season ‘Dalirrgang’.
