ALERT LEVEL: Advice - A fire is in the area. Monitor the situation for changes.

FIRE TYPE: Bushfire. INFORMATION CURRENT AS AT: 02/10/2026 16:15:00

STATUS: GOING - A fire which is spreading on one or more fronts. Effective containment strategies are not in place for the entire perimeter.

RISKS FACED BY PEOPLE IN THE AREA: Smoke from this fire may affect visibility, Active fire may occur close to the roadside.

WHAT TO DO: Stay informed until threat is reduced. Avoid the area.

Enabling infrastructure for the Holtze development is progressing, with construction of new sewer infrastructure along Farrar Boulevard scheduled to resume from Monday 5 October.

Works will take place Monday to Friday, 7 am – 5 pm, and include:
✅sewer construction across Farrar Boulevard
✅installation of stormwater drainage within the Farrar Boulevard Road verge
✅pavement reinstatement
✅site restoration activities.

To safely complete these works, a section of Farrar Boulevard will be temporarily reduced to a single lane, with traffic management measures in place for approximately 4 weeks.

Access for pedestrians and cyclists will remain available for the duration of the works.
