Rossi Architects would like to congratulate Studio Lead Architect Maiya McKenna for being awarded the 2025 Emerging Architect prize for the Northern Territory. What an amazing achievement! It is a testament to Maiya's passion for culture, community and her ability to gather, listen and learn from her interactions with clients and place. The team at Rossi Architects cannot be more proud of her achievements. Once again congratulations and we cannot wait to see what the future brings.

Maiya, our studio lead had the opportunity to present the LCC Project to the executives from Engineers Australia.

The Larrakia Cultural Centre site has been playing host to a few visitors from down south lately.
Yesterday the LCC team played host to Engineers Australia National President and Board Chair, Dr Nick Fleming FIEAust CPEng EngExec NER.

The design team joined us on site, and were more than happy to share the various cultural, sustainability and environmental considerations that have been applied to the Larrakia Cultural Centre's design.
