Position purpose

To provide fast, quality repairs to mobile phones, tablets, smart devices, computers and laptops by working with a team of technicians.
Main tasks
Core objectives include:
-The repair (software and hardware) of mobile and computer devices by the arranged time
-Discussing, interpreting, analysing problems experienced by the customer regarding mobile phone and tablet technology
-To confidently work with microsoldering equipment
-Troubleshoot logic board level faults (level 3) using multimeter and related equipment to diagnose correct repairs and then perform said repairs
-Data recovery at the logic and motherboard level
-Troubleshoot modular component level faults (level 2) using diagnostic tools and execute electronic repairs using small tools and equipment.
-Responding to inquiries about software and hardware problems.
-Customer Service and Sales

To provide excellent retail and sales customer service in our growing team.

Main tasks

- Discuss pre and post repair with customers the service provided.

- Retail sales of mobile phone accessories and protection products.

- Fulfil daily tasks as found in corresponding daily checklist.

- Maintain a spotless front counter and front section.

- Excellent customer service and sales skills

- KPI focussed and motivation to go above and beyond.

- Maintain a positive attitude and a friendly manner to customers and staff.

Other Duties

- Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required. Help build a strong team environment.

Required qualities.

- Strong team player

- Experience in retail sales

- Interest in technology and what we do

- A repair/re-use/environmentally conscious ambassador

- Clean, tidy and well organised

- Bubbly personality and professional attitude
