Most people don’t realize what a layered issue kid clutter is, what a process it is, and how much of it is really about you.

It’s really common to put the blame for all of the kid clutter on the kids, as if they’re supposed to naturally know how to let things go.

But we have to teach them.

Decluttering is a skill that’s built up with practice and experience, and that is going to have to come through you, the parent.

Think about yourself and if you’ve needed help.

It’s not easy to shift to a new way of living lighter with less clutter, less stuff.

Clove oil does have anti-fungal properties and can be useful for cleaning up small areas of mould. Try a ¼ of a teaspoon of oil of cloves to 1 litre of water, wipe down and ideally leave overnight.
