🚧 Temporary Closure – West Lane 🚧

City of Darwin advises that West Lane (near the West Lane car park) will be temporarily closed from midnight on Friday 6 March 2026.

These works are necessary to eliminate safety hazards caused by damaged pits and to help prevent potential accidents or vehicle damage.

🛠 What to expect:

Full closure of West Lane at the work location
Access to the car park will be maintained
Works expected to take approximately 8–10 hours
Some minor noise due to drilling
Traffic management will be in place

We appreciate your patience while we carry out these important safety works.

Excavators & Backhoe Machinery Operator who can also carry out simple construction labour tasks.

To be considered for this opportunity you must have:

•RIIMPO319E Conduct Backhoe/Loader Operations Licensing (minimum 3 years experience)
•RIIMPO320E Conduct Civil Construction Excavator Operations Licensing (minimum 3 years experience)
• Experience in Civil construction industry
(minimum 3 years)
• Licencing to drive HR vehicles
• Ability to deliver a high standard of work
• Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
• Hold a Valid Australian HR Drivers Licence
• Hold an industry white card
• Have a strong commitment to Safety
• Clean and Tidy presentation to represent our company well
• Good communication skills
And Must be able to work unsupervised
• Experience in minor concrete works and general civil labouring minimum 2 years
