Risk isn’t a checklist - it’s a process.
At Positive Practices, we use structured professional judgement and embed risk considerations across everything we do: FBAs, formulations, mediator analysis, BSP strategies, safety protocols and service planning.
We ask the big questions:
🔹How do we balance dignity of risk with safety?
🔹What happens during service transitions, new accommodation, or client matches?
🔹How do we consider cultural context and consider this in situations like return to country?
We need to think about and manage risk effectively to make sure we are supporting people to live fully, with dignity and choice at the centre.
We’re still learning what it means to do remote work well. We keep working on how to show up, listen, and build something that makes sense for each community.
Every trip teaches us something new about connection, context, and the kind of presence that matters most.
