🐷🏠 THREE LITTLE PIGS, SENSORY PLAY🌿

Our Grevillea Studio have been exploring the story of The Three Little Pigs through hands-on play! 🐷✨

The children have been busy building houses using different natural and loose parts, experimenting with straw, sticks and bricks, and bringing the story to life with our little pig characters.

A wonderful opportunity for imaginative play, creativity, problem-solving and storytelling - all while having lots of fun! 💕🌱

Today, we used mirrors, positive behaviour prompts and visual cues to encourage our children to pause, reflect and recognise the wonderful choices they make throughout their day. 🪞🌱

Our educators supported children to identify positive behaviours, build self-awareness and celebrate moments of kindness, respect, patience and cooperation.

At Bluebird we believe children are capable, competent learners and every positive choice is worth celebrating! 💙

Caity supports our 2–3 year olds as they learn, grow, build confidence and develop their independence through a play based program before moving into 3 year old kindergarten. 🌱✨

🐸🔎 SEARCHING FOR FROGS! 🔎🐸

Look closely… can you spot them all? 👀💚

Our little explorers have been on a frog-finding adventure, investigating our sensory frog habitat and searching high and low for colourful frogs hiding amongst the lily pads, water and bridges! 🌿💧🐸

This playful experience encouraged children to:
✨ Develop observation and attention skills
✨ Explore colours, textures and movement
✨ Use fine motor skills as they grasped and moved the frogs
✨ Engage in imaginative and sensory play
✨ Learn about frogs and where they might live
✨ Work together, share ideas and problem-solve

🐮🐔 FARM ANIMAL DAY! 🐷🐑

Our children had the BEST time welcoming Myuna Farm Mobile Ark Animal Nursery to Bluebird Botanic Ridge yesterday! 🌿💙

There were plenty of smiles, gentle pats and exciting opportunities to get up close with some beautiful farm animals. 🥰

Our children were able to observe, interact, ask questions and learn about caring for animals and life on the farm - bringing our holiday program to life through a hands-on experience! 🌱🐐

What a special day of connection, curiosity and learning through play! 💙

🌸 WHAT CAN YOU BUILD? 🧱🌿

Our children were invited to explore, create and build using a beautiful collection of natural and open-ended materials.

From wooden pieces and stones to flowers, seed pods and clay, the possibilities were endless! ✨

A wonderful opportunity to encourage creativity, imagination, problem-solving and fine motor skills through hands-on play. 💙
