On Friday, the team took the submarine for more water testing at the pool. These tests allowed the design and manufacturing engineers to better the submarine by adding small counterweights inside the body, forcing the turret to stay completely upright and negating the buoyancy required to allow the vehicle to submerge to further depths.

Manufacturing has been a major focus over the past week as the final exterior is created through manual operations. Using a highly adhesive glue, the turret was attached to the main body. Puttying and spray painting was next, used to smooth any rough, external patches to keep advancing within one of the core ideologies of the submarine, it's sleek design.

There was much team discussion about 3D printed parts today. Through collaboration with all members of SubZero, mounts and systems for servo motors were created for assembly later in submarine production.

A small, customised rover in which we used to calculate forces of gravity and buoyancy acting upon the prototype to later be applied to the working model submarine.
