Here’s one last GU Patrol before we close up for the year

Standard welded cooler and 3” Exhaust common rail Patrol

With a Dawes valve and tune we’re up 30% more torque and power. Not too shabby!

Here’s a fun 1HDFTE 100 series Landcruiser
With a quick turnaround we’ve installed a unichip X with boost control onto this customers factory 1HD cruiser

With the inclusion of Unichips boost controller, if the customer does wish to upgrade his turbo in the future and wishes to have multiple power settings, we are able to target different boost levels for different applications on the fly

This 100 series was bone stock, these engines have a heap of headroom which makes chasing more power a relatively cheap exercise

While we haven’t posted a Patrol in a hot minute they’re still one the most popular cars we have come in

Here’s a little good example of not overcomplicating things!
This Patrol came in to get more power as it was driving quite sluggish

On the initial dyno runs the boost curve was very very lazy
The fix was simple. The vacuum line that runs to the turbo actuator had split and was torn

With a dawes valve fitted and the Patrol properly tuned. The difference is night and day
Look at the area “under the graph”. A lot more usable power!

While we haven't been very active on our socials we have been busy!

Leading up to Christmas we're offering free fitting on all HPD catch can installs when coupled with a tune! That's a 28% saving on install

This is related to lasting stock so give us a call or message to find out if we've still got stock for you!

These catch can's have a few little neat features such as a dipstick to quickly check the oil level and a mesh filter that we have found not to get clogged up like other branded catch cans

The right candidate does not need to have tuning experience, I will still be tuning and supporting in the background.
The ideal opportunity for a mechanic looking to expand their business or someone interested in motorsports that would love an a grade facility and diesel tuning to compliment the business.
Anyone that’s seen our workshop knows what it would cost to set up something at this level.

This Patrol wasn’t making the power with the factory tune i’d expect

After checking over the engine the Injector codes programmed were not matching with their corresponding cylinder

With the injector codes reprogrammed and the ECU tuned, this Patrol is making exactly what I'd expect with it’s modifications

Mods:
✅ HPD Series 1 Intercooler
✅ 3” Exhaust
✅ Dawes valve
✅ EGR Blocked off

This 70 series was recently purchased with an overboosting issue throwing it into a limp mode

The owner said it had been tuned beforehand

Throwing it onto the dyno, the first thing i saw the turbo was close to 30psi

Instead of jumping the gun and blaming the previous tuner we swapped out the boost control solenoid with one we keep for testing purposes

Call it coincidence but the past few 70 series cruisers that have some though with boost related issues have all been due to the solenoid.

Either way, with that diagnosed and repaired the customer can enjoy his cruiser again without any overboost limp modes!
