Season 2025 done and dusted! ✅
It was great to finish the year off at a home track.

Overall: 10th

I struggled a bit throughout the weekend with bike feel and confidence, getting back down to my times from last year.
With a cold track and drying conditions in race 1 I brought the bike home safely in 13th position. Race 2 I kept consistent lap times and got a PB of 1.57.5 with a 14th place finish. I wish I could have come into the weekend with this sort of pace, but that’s how it goes sometimes.

Nevertheless I had a great weekend and was stoked to finish the round 10th overall and come away with 11th overall in the Supersport championship in my Rookie year!

I went into this weekend with high hopes and exited to learn a new track. Practice Friday was interesting trying to learn the flow of the track, Q1 saturday I dropped my times and felt confident knowing what I needed to improve on for the second qualifying.

Q2 I got one lap in before tucking the front at turn 2. Thanks to my Ricondi Leathers I walked away uninjured and with the help of dad and Tony from RACE BIKES we were able to fix the bike ready for racing Sunday.

Race 1 I got a good start until the race got red flagged. A bad launch off the line and a few mistakes during the restart put me further back then I was hoping for. On the last lap I ran wide onto a dirty part of the circuit resulting in a crash. 🫠
With too much damage on the bike I had to use my spare bike for race 2. With a technical issue on the bike I made sure I got it to the finish line for a result.

With the level of confidence and bike feel I had on Friday and early Saturday to say I am disappointed with my results would be an understatement.

Hopefully I can finish the year off strong at The Bend in a month’s time.

Didn’t get the results we were looking for this weekend. Friday practice I spent the day running in a new engine and trying to ride through some issues with my premodern 600 race bike, which sadly we could not resolve so I had to park it and just race the Supersport class.

On and off wet/dry conditions made things interesting on Saturday, feeling confident in the wet I put my bike in the best position for racing. A dry race 1 I was not up to speed with the bike. Race 2 a bit of luck went my way with some wet weather and for race 3 and 4 I again needed to gain confidence going fast on a dry track.

Nonetheless this round was good fun with some great crew around the pits and after having dropped back into 5th in the championship due to some issues at previous rounds I was able to recover and finish 2nd overall in the SA supersport 600 championship.

I now travel to One Raceway for round 7 of the ASBK championship this weekend.

🥈 Ryder placed 2nd in the Supersport 600 class at the Mac Park over the weekend, for both the round overall and the South Australian championship season!

ASBK Round 6 Phillip Island Victoria

Another round complete!

Pretty happy with my riding this weekend, just needed to get my elbows out a bit more in the races.

Qualifying: 14th
Race 1: 10th
Race 2: 15th
Overall: 10th

Felt strong in the first race with a good start but just wasn’t aggressive enough in the first couple of laps and ran off track mid race. Thankfully I was able to recover to 10th for a strong finish.

Race 2 the track was wet and I was feeling confident. I got another good start making my way into 10th position, until lap 4 hitting neutral and running on at turn 10, costing me a couple of positions. After this the track began to dry and I lost confidence in the wet tyres beginning to overheat.

Mega thanks to Shane Church and Scott Loxton for coming over to help this round and RACE BIKES for the valuable team support. I’m stoked to be coming home with my first top 10 race finish and overall in the supersport category.

ASBK Round 4 in the books ✅

I had a great time racing this weekend making some solid progressions in my performance on yet another track that I hadn’t tackled on the R6 before.

Race 1 I got a bad start and was in a battle for 16th before making a mistake and running straight on at turn 1. Race 2 I got a better start and held a steady 14th until the race got red flagged, after the 5 lap restart I was in a group from 12th - 15th before having issues with my quick shifter.

Race 1: 17th
Race 2: 15th
Overall: 15th

Three rounds of the ASBK Championship complete!

I made some decent progressions this weekend, being the first time riding here on the 600 and focusing on getting up to speed with the track and getting set up sorted. I ended up qualifying 15th position and finished the two races in 14th and 13th for 12th overall in the round.

I was happy with my riding but just need to find a little bit more time to keep up with the bikes further ahead of me, we will work on this for the next round.💪

Mac park Easter cup 2025 complete ✅

Some more torrential weather this weekend made things difficult, but was good to get some more feel on the R6 in the rain. This weekend I also had the privilege of riding Rodney Plowman GSXR 750 in the Premodern class.

Premodern:
2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd
Premodern (08) overall 1st
Hats off to Sam he was untouchable all weekend.
