Reconciliation Week
As a service, we have intentionally embedded Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our daily practice and curriculum.
Alongside our ongoing exploration of the Noongar Seasons, children have been incorporating Noongar language into their everyday greetings and conversations.
We’ve also begun growing our Bush Tucker Garden, which we hope to continue expanding. As it grows, children will be able to use these native herbs in their learning experiences and help embed these cultural practices into our service in meaningful ways.
The children will continue to engage in authentic, hands on experiences that build genuine partnerships and strengthen how we embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in everything we do.

🌙 National Simultaneous Storytime 2026 – Luna Roo 🦘⚽
On Wednesday the children joined thousands of others across Australia for National Simultaneous Storytime, enjoying the uplifting story Luna Roo.
This book celebrates the power of teamwork, the courage to never give up and the joy of learning about Australian native animals all through a very exciting game of soccer!
The children cheered for Luna and spoke about how friends can help each other succeed. Stories like this help build confidence, cooperation, and a love of reading. 🌟📚
Thank you Luna for inspiring our friends to be brave!

🖤💛❤️ Welcome to National Reconciliation Week ❤️💛🖤
This week across our centres, we’re proud to acknowledge and celebrate National Reconciliation Week, a meaningful time to learn, reflect and strengthen our connection to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and perspectives.
Throughout the week, our children and educators will be engaging in thoughtful learning experiences designed to spark curiosity, deepen understanding and foster respect for the world’s oldest continuing cultures. From storytelling and creative experiences to music & dance, language and shared conversations, we’re excited to create opportunities for meaningful learning and connection together.
We can’t wait to share what’s planned across our centres this week and celebrate these important moments with our community.

Celebrating World Bee Day 🐝
The Babies room celebrated World Bee Day with a colourful, creative, and sensory‑rich rice experience. Educators made the learning intentional by mimicking the buzzing sounds of bees, helping the children connect the sensory play to real‑world concepts.
As the children explored the unique textures of the coloured rice and natural materials with their little hands, they were introduced to early ideas about bees, nature, and the environment. It was a joyful, hands‑on experience where the children learned through play, and had plenty of fun along the way.

🚸 National Road Safety Week🚸
This week the children have been busy exploring all things road safety. They learned about different road signs, the meanings behind colours and symbols, and used this knowledge in their imaginative play.
We also took our learning outdoors, where the children searched for real road signs in their surroundings. It was a wonderful way for them to connect what they’ve learned with the world around them.
A huge thank‑you to our amazing team for creating such rich, engaging environments filled with opportunities to learn and discover. 💛

Fun day out at our local park! 🌞🌿
The children made the most of the beautiful sunny weather earlier this week. Our toddlers enjoyed a fun adventure to the local park, where they explored the playground. They played collaboratively with their friends, including taking turns going down the slide ,and showed wonderful social skills in action.
During their walk and play, the children also observed the local flora and fauna, noticing the changes happening during Djeran season. It was a meaningful opportunity for them to learn with nature and connect with their community.
What a wonderful day of exploration, friendship, and discovery! 🌼✨
