Here we are, on the other side of an amazing GreazeFest! Our 2026 edition was an exciting weekend of cool culture, packed to the brim with excellent bands, DJs, classic cars, talented artists and displays, and plenty of dancing from beginning to end.

Friday Night

The weekend started on Friday night with our big get together, with rockers and friends from all over Australia and New Zealand dressing up in their finest for a big party. It was smiles everywhere as everyone reunited for this rockin’ shindig. The live music went hard with The Linelockers, Kieron McDonald Combo and the amazing Toto (UK) who was joined by Kid James taking it to a high level and finish.

GreazeFest Saturday

Saturday has morphed into the biggest day of the weekend. Classic cars filled the oval, market vendors showed off their impressive wares, and people came along in droves. The whole event was buzzing with energy.

Special guests Psychomatic Kustoms made their first visit to GreazeFest and displayed an incredible collection of metal-flaked and pinstriped pieces, with punters quickly snapping up many of their unique creations. GreazeFest artists Kane-o Customs, Wolfmancam and Rastra Lyall also showcased their outstanding work, adding even more eye candy to the day.

Saturday’s music program commenced with a new band The Hop-Ups, who delivered an authentic set of rockabilly, followed by Peaches and the Alphasonics and then Jake and the Cadillacs. The Walters brought in the cool sounds of Texas blues before Men Into Space took us on a far out journey to outer space.

The Pinup Party

The Pinup Party once again brought the community together in a celebration of individuality, kindness and support. Hilly Monroe and Bettie Butcher were joined by Miss Chrissy, Maizie May, Valentina Volupte, Paul Pugh and Vicki Martin, sharing the message to be uniquely yourself while lifting up those around you. This year’s leopard-print photo theme attracted a fantastic turnout, with 34 people coming together for a fun and fabulous group photo that perfectly captured the colour, confidence and community spirit of the occasion.

Learn to Dance

The Learn to Dance sessions continue to grow each year, with more people stepping onto the dance floor to join in the fun. Jake and Tiffany did a fantastic job as instructors, offering genuine, hands-on teaching that helped dancers of all experience levels learn the steps and enjoy the music. It has become a cool part of the GreazeFest experience, and it is a feature that is here to stay.

GreazeFest Unplugged

Our acoustic sessions brought together musicians aged 10 and up, including men and women of all experience levels, for a relaxed, no-pressure jam and get-together. There was on-the-spot hilarity, smiles and a cool sense of fun as friends joined in and played together. It is a wonderful way for musicians to meet, experiment and enjoy making music without any pressure.

Saturday night

The good times continued when the sun went down with Kid James launching into a killer set to kick off Saturday night, followed by a big singalong with The Flattrakkers followed by the brilliant Pat Capocci.

Screamin’ Rebel Angels hit the stage in black leather for a high-energy set, led by the dynamic and talented Laura Palmer from New York on upright bass. This was Laura’s first visit to Australia, and let’s hope we see her back here again soon.

GreazeFest Sunday

Sunday always brings a good but slightly strange feeling. After a year of work, the huge setup and two big days of fun, it feels surreal knowing it will all be over in just a few hours. So the best thing to do is go hard and make the most of the time we have left. Some soft rain visited the site early, but by mid-morning the sun had arrived, and in came the crowd for one final blast of good times.

The day opened with The Oztones, followed by Lovejoy Surf and Smokin’ Firebirds. Ezra Lee & Jumpin’ Jethro delivered a cool set of boogie-woogie and rock’n’roll, while the Johnny Burnette tribute had everyone down the front doing the bop to those iconic songs. Miss Teresa and the High-Key Three then brought the weekend’s program to a fitting close.

Trophy Recipients

Out on the field, the hot rods and classics rolled in throughout the day. Here are our GreazeFest Show Choice award recipients, whose vehicles reflect the spirit of kustom kulture.

Art Show

The Vintage Sign Art Show was a major highlight, attracting hundreds of visitors across the weekend.

We received over 320 votes and the most popular piece was created by Rob Walker, featuring a space age mid-century style sign that glowed in neon and flashing lights. Of all the art on display 14 pieces were purchased and over $1000 has been raised for the RSPCA, bringing our total donations to date to over $17,000.

Thank you to everyone who came along to GreazeFest and continue to do so year after year. Your support means everything to me.

Events like GreazeFest are like an iceberg. What you experience over the weekend is the part you see above the water. Beneath the surface is a much bigger operation, with months of planning, preparation and hard work from me, my team and the many people who help bring it all together.

Thank you to my team - BJ, Kylie, Simon, Sarah, Vicki, Amy and Jodie, and all our event crew, production teams, hot rod marshals, stallholders, pinups and stylists, artists, presenters, and every person who plays a part in making GreazeFest happen.

And a massive shout-out to all our DJs and musicians. They dedicate their lives to their craft and to the music we love, and they bring that sound to life right here at GreazeFest.

Now that GreazeFest is over for another year, and we step back into the normal world, I hope we continue to carry with us the joy we felt at GreazeFest, that good feeling that comes from doing what you love with the people you love, and all the new faces you meet along the way. I believe what we have created together is something very special. Kustom kulture can be found all over the world, but this is our version of it here in Australia.

We call it GreazeFest.

GreazeFest 2026 Vintage Sign Art Show

The GreazeFest Art Show for 2026 was a fantastic display of talent and inspiration. Many thanks to our kustom artists showcasing their creations in our special Vintage Sign Art display over the weekend.

All submissions were on display on Saturday and Sunday at GreazeFest and visitors could purchase the artwork and vote for their favourite piece. We received over 320 votes and the most popular piece was created by Rob Walker, featuring a space age mid-century style sign that glowed in neon and flashing lights.
