Capitano will be here for all your pizza and pasta needs Wednesday January 25th from 5:30pm and then we’ll be back Friday 27th at the same time. Walk ins welcome.

As an extra safety precaution during these incredibly sketchy times we have limited our online booking system capacity - if you can’t book online don’t be disheartened, come on down and see if we can set you up at the bar or outside.

We’ve had a great break and hope you have too. We’ve got some exquisite new additions to the menu (which may or may not include 🍍’s) so our advice is to hold off for a spell on that new year diet.

However, on a slightly positive note, we were able to save some of the produce and repurpose it into a naughty, little lockdown treat.
Clarified Banana Gelato, Coffee Liqueur, Fino Style Sherry and Coffee Bean Infused Rum.

To everyone who visited us, ordered with us, put up with us, thank you. Heading into this weekend we - like every other restaurant - were absolutely loaded for what had the potential to be one of the busiest of the year. Friday night you turned up and turned it up. Saturday you turned it up. Sunday you turned it up, so much so that we shut the shop due to the mass of orders. In the history of our life in and out of lockdowns we’ve only had to do that a couple of times. Wild.

We’re back with pick-up and delivery from 5.30pm tonight ready to hopefully push through these next few days before we throw the doors open and welcome you back again. Orders via the site (capitano.com.au)

We’ve got two packs (✌️) and they are now live via the site (capitano.com.au) with pre-orders available as well, for pick-up OR delivery. It’s never been a better time to be a lazy lover.

Each consists of Focaccia & Burrata, a choice of Pizza (Double ‘Roni OR Heirloom Tomato) & Pasta (Rigatoni Vodka 😘 OR Casarecce w/ White Pork Ragu), Wild Greens & a Tiramisu to finish with. If you’re feeling a little saucier there’s the option to add some wine or bespoke cocktail options from our red hot (like the rose 🌹) bar team as well.

Pick up and delivery will be running from high-noon tomorrow so if you’re too disorganised to pre-order or just prefer the spontaneous side of romance, we got you.
