with such fine weather today I couldn't resist going out to capture some shots of my local suburb (coburg) with my recent addition to the camera family (full spectrum modified 5dmk2 setup to replicate the legendary kodak aerochrome infrared film).

kabuchihabara - ghostsoul - 'sensing you' 16/01/2020

not only do i take photos, but i've also been dabbling in a bit of video editing. Here's a work i recently produced with some go-pro footage I shot during my last trip to Tokyo. A huge shoutout to ghostsoul for letting me use his awesome beats to add some sound to this work (wouldn't be possible without it!)

It's been a while since i've posted everything; last year i was very focused with graphic design work, as I realised making money is the only way i'm going to get to shoot the scenes I want; which are all overseas.

So i'm back from a recent trip to Japan & have some shots to share. One of the highlights was getting to photograph the snow monkeys of jigokudani. It was an incredible experience to make eye contact with these creatures thru the lens of a camera.

Taken with Sony A7RII & vintage Tamron Adaptall 180mm f/2.4 lens; a truely amazing telephoto prime; one of only 3,000 ever produced.

Melbourne Style.

Shot with Tamron adaptall 180mm f/2.5 lens on Sony A7Rii. Never had much success focusing this beautiful old lens, but with the focus assist of the a7rii, it was a breeze!

couldn't resist capturing the fantastic sunrise over Carlton this morning; as seen from my studio. Had to capture this digitally because my film cameras were all loaded with b&w film. 5d3 & TS-E 24mm f/3.5 lens fitted with a ND1000. A series of long bracketed exposures blended together.

something I shot while checking out the Andy Warhol & Ai Wei Wei show for inspiration.

had a broken scanner so it feels like ages since I last uploaded anything. Good news is, i'm back with a nice upgrade & now have a backlog of film to scan, so that'll keep me busy.

This is a several minute exposure of Docklands, Melbourne, Taken with my mamiya 6 & 75mm lens during 'blue hour' using Fuji Pro 160.
