Meet the Trainer Series - Group Fitness
We will be posting a different trainer each day so you can get to know our awesome gym team.
Emily Mackay
I grew up in a seaside town in the UK. I started dancing as soon as I could walk and haven’t stopped moving since!
This sparked a passion for fitness where I competed in cross country and played college basketball whilst continuing to dance.
At 18, I moved to France to dance at Disney and continued to travel Europe and the Middle East, dancing at the Moulin Rouge, La Nouvelle Eve and countless Casinos.
Later in life I moved to Brisbane and studied my fitness qualifications where my love for Pilates began.
I have been teaching Pilates at the Clem Jones Centre for almost 8 years and I can’t wait to teach here for many more!
QUALIFICATIONS
Cert 3 & 4 in Fitness
Certified Pilates, Body Pump, Body Attack, Zumba and Freestyle Instructor
