A shift in direction with this. Ive scaled back the story and made the figure more a side character. After all its the Mk.44 who's the star.

Little kitbash for my Ma.K MK44.
Here's a proof of concept from a new style of prop im working one.
I was going to wait for a more polished result but it things are getting a little more complicated, so it could be another week or so away.
This is a static animated prop using a lenticular len... yep just like the collectable ones from chip packets and card sets.
the way it works is ive made an interlaced/weaved image consisting of 6 images of a rortalong prop. The lens bends the light and give you eye a look at one of the frames so when either the lens or you're viewing position changes the image changes and makes it look like its moving.
When I get this more refined ill make a video of the entire process and share the code i used to make the lenticular images.

Made some progress on the first Ma.K figure. Still working on the jacket. First time painting denim, didnt come out too bad. Slapped on some dark blue/green, dry brushed cream and shaded/tint/glazed with blue.
