founded in 1991 by Noel and Doreen Tennant as `Tennant Hydraulic Consulting Services Pty Ltd’ providing Building Hydraulic Services Consultancy to the ACT region. Following 16 years of successful operation and growth in June 2007 David Tennant and Robert Perry assumed ownership of the business under the new name of THCS (ACT) Pty Ltd. THCS have acquired extensive experience having undertaken a diverse range of works for local and federal government agencies as well as a range of private sector clients. THCS (ACT) Pty Ltd has a demonstrated ability in all aspects of Building Hydraulic Engineering Services design. The combination of trade and engineering backgrounds of our staff enable us to provide well considered design solutions to achieve the required outcomes. THCS has a particular focus in designing to provide economic and environmentally friendly solutions, while considering the end ongoing maintenance and functional requirements of the installed systems. THCS seek to bring to every project our signature `focused attention to detail backed by quality documentation and support through construction’. Hot and cold water reticulation,
Sanitary plumbing and drainage,
Trade waste drainage and pre-treatment,
Stormwater drainage,
Water recycling and re-use Gas reticulation,
Special water reticulation (e.g. for healthcare and laboratory applications),
Fire hydrant, hose reel and sprinkler protection, and
Water Sensitive Urban Design. Our scope of services includes:
Design, documentation and construction support for construction projects ranging from major new construction to refurbishment projects;
Feasibility and audit reports for existing buildings, facilities and systems addressing code compliance, dilapidation, adaptability, life cycle costing, etc;
Assisting the property management industry through condition audits, rectification assessments, maintenance programing, etc.
