"We translate what politicians really mean so they don't have to. 😂"

19/06/2026

This meme perfectly sums up how a lot of Australians are feeling right now…
The government keeps telling us “we’re all in this together” — but while everyday Aussies are working harder than ever just to survive, the people at the top seem to be living very comfortably on the top deck.
From the cost of living crisis, record rents, skyrocketing energy bills, and grocery prices that keep climbing, to politicians giving themselves pay rises and lifetime pensions while telling everyone else to tighten their belts… it’s starting to feel like two very different realities in this country.
The people rowing the boat (you and me) are exhausted. Meanwhile, the ones enjoying the feast keep saying “we’re all in the same boat.”
Be brutally honest in the comments:
Do you feel like we’re actually “all in the same boat”?
Or does it feel like some people are on the top deck while the rest of us are below doing all the work?

One Nation is currently sitting at the top of the polls in multiple states, and it’s sending shockwaves through Australian politics.
Pauline Hanson and her party are gaining serious ground as more and more Australians lose faith in the major parties. With the cost of living crisis still crushing families, record immigration levels, housing prices out of control, and growing frustration with both Labor and the Coalition, a lot of voters are turning to One Nation as a real alternative.
Pauline has been saying the same things for years — and now it looks like more Australians are finally listening. Whether you love her or hate her, she’s clearly tapping into something big that the major parties have ignored for too long.
Be brutally honest in the comments:
👍 YES — One Nation deserves to be this high in the polls
😤 NO — This is dangerous and I don’t support it

This one is sparking major debate right now…
Anthony Albanese and the Labor Party are reportedly asking supporters to donate $27 specifically to help them fight One Nation and Pauline Hanson.
At a time when millions of Australians are struggling with the cost of living, skyrocketing rents, energy bills, and grocery prices — many people are furious at the idea of being asked to hand over more money to help one political party attack another.
Critics are calling it tone-deaf, especially while everyday families are doing it tough. Others argue it’s just standard political fundraising and that One Nation needs to be stopped.
But the bigger question a lot of people are asking is:
Why should ordinary Aussies be funding political attacks between parties when so many are barely surviving themselves?
Be brutally honest in the comments:
👍 YES — I’d donate $27 to help Labor fight One Nation
😢 NO — This is ridiculous, I’m struggling enough already

This is the question millions of Australians are asking right now…
With the cost of living crisis still crushing families, skyrocketing rents, energy bills through the roof, and groceries getting more expensive every week — a lot of people are furious about how their hard-earned tax money is being spent.
From politician salaries and lifetime pensions, to NDIS rorts, government waste, overseas spending, and big projects that seem to blow out in cost, many Aussies feel like they’re working harder but getting less in return.
The government keeps telling us the economy is strong, but for everyday families trying to pay the mortgage or rent, it doesn’t feel that way.
Be brutally honest in the comments:
❤️ HELL NO — I’m not happy with how my tax money is being spent
👍 YES — I’m happy with how it’s being spent

This is the question a lot of Australians are asking right now…
Should politicians like Anthony Albanese get the same pension as ordinary Aussies when they retire?
Right now, politicians enjoy very generous, taxpayer-funded pensions for life after leaving office — often worth hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. Meanwhile, regular Australians have to rely on the Age Pension, which is much lower and means-tested.
With the cost of living crisis still hitting hard, many people are furious that politicians get a golden retirement while everyday Aussies struggle to survive on the pension.
Be honest in the comments:
❤️ BLOODY OATH — Politicians should be on the same pension as everyone else
👍 NAH — They should keep their current pensions
Do you think politicians deserve a better deal than regular workers? Or should they be on the same system as the rest of us? Drop your thoughts below 👇 No filter.

Anthony Albanese has delivered a blunt warning to protesters — telling them to “turn the temperature down” or accept responsibility for the consequences.
This comes as anger continues to grow across Australia over the cost of living crisis, housing prices, energy bills, and immigration levels. “Ditch the Witch” signs have reappeared at protests, showing just how deep the frustration runs with the current government.
Albanese’s comments have divided people. Some say he’s right and that protests are getting out of hand. Others believe he’s dismissing legitimate concerns from everyday Australians who are struggling to survive.
The Prime Minister’s message is clear: calm down, or face the consequences. But many are asking — what consequences? And why is the government more focused on controlling public anger than fixing the problems causing it?
Be brutally honest in the comments:
Do you think Albanese is right to tell people to calm down?
Or are Australians right to be this angry?

Anthony Albanese and the Labor Party are once again being accused of serving up nothing but empty promises. From the cost of living crisis, to housing affordability, energy prices, and broken election commitments — many Australians feel like they’ve been handed an empty box.
The meme perfectly captures the frustration: Albanese dressed as a McDonald’s worker offering “McNuffin” — because that’s exactly what many voters believe they’ve received since 2022.
While the government continues to claim they’re delivering for Australians, the reality for everyday families is skyrocketing rents, grocery prices, and power bills. The gap between what was promised and what has actually been delivered is growing wider every month.
Be honest in the comments:
Do you feel like you’ve been served “McNuffin” by this government?
